Young man, Disseminated Gonorrhea or not....?
So, It all started when I was younger around age 8- 10 and I am 17. I don't remember how I contracted it, but i knew it had to be Something! Like Two weeks after I had contracted it, I started having piss stains in my tighty-whiteys and I thought it was normal - you know, kids who didn't "Shake" after peeing (and I really never did that). Then the burning started happening... It was excruciatingly painful at the Head of my penis! But again, I thought it was normal, so I dealt with this. From age 10 - 15, The burning kept happening even less and rare and I almost thought it was gone. But I was wrong... On a good August school morning, while in class, something inside my asshole started to burn! It was brief, but ungodly more painful than the original burning of my penis! Like an ignorant teen, I once again ignored it smh... Then, just like the brief and rare burning of my penis, the inflammation of my prostate started slowly decreasing in intensity, pain, and occurrences. At around Age 16, I had gotten a bump on my thigh which was BLACK and looked like melanoma so I got scared (The internet makes you false diagnose yourself) Over time as I grew, more bumps are coming around my whole body and its concerning.... I am scared for my own personal health.They started appearing on my thighs and legs. It escalated recently, appearing on my neck, shoulders, FACE, and arms. You can't really realize it because I am African American, but I personally see it. I don't want pus-filled bumps all over me visible soon. Now, I have been concerned it of myself since AGE 13, but my parents would've killed me before I said the words, "I have an ST-". Ever since I self-diagnosed myself at age 13, I made sure I had NO SEXUAL interaction with anyone until I checked this out. My original plan was to wait til 18 to be an adult and be responsible but I'm afraid I need to man up and care for myself. Some symptoms I can say I have had through the years was, chills, Penis inflammation, Prostate Inflammation, Pus-filled bumps, random itchiness when water applied to skin, itchiness all over body when sweating, Fatigue, Toxic LETHAL Farts and Drowsiness (I did used to have scabies because of my dog but, I THINK i got rid of them). I am soo scared right now, what should I do!!!???
Questions:
1.) Can I privately schedule an appointment with my local Mayo Clinic, without knowledge to my parents?
2.) What happens if I wait a couple more years?? ( I won't wait, I'm just interested)
3.) What is the procedure needed to be done for me to be gonorrhea-free?
4.) What are the estimates of costs for the procedure/recovery? ( I have insurance, but I also have money '_' )
5.) Will there really be a record of me being a carrier; Will my employer/ future employers see it or anyone?
6.) How long is the initial appointment to check symptoms?
Please respond, My life is depending on it and I am freakkinggggg out!

I think you made a great choice to reach out and see what others have to say related to your symptoms of a possible STD. It sounds like you have been dealing with this for a few years now, so it’s probably time to be seen by a provider especially if you feel that symptoms are progressing and are concerned about your health.
You have some valid questions about privacy and protecting your health information from those you choose not to share it with (parents, employers). From what I could research, it depends on your state, but the following is true: “For laws related to HIV and other STI services, pregnancy care, adoption or medical care for a child, state consent laws apply to all individuals aged 12 through 17. In some cases, however, states allow only certain groups of young people—such as those who are married, pregnant or already parents—to consent. As far as your questions related to cost, I think that will depend on treatment options, insurance, etc. I would ask the appointment desk for an estimate of the first visit, then consult with your provider about additional costs on treatment options. 1 Reaction@justamanz028 I would strongly recommend that you see a doctor soon. But first, why do you think it’s an STD? You’ve had these same symptoms since around age 8? If you’re worried about going to your family doctor, try an Urgent Care or Planned Parenthood Clinic ( they are not just for women).
Or talk with your parents. You don’t need to say it’s a STD, that’s just a guess on your part. Explain the symptoms you’ve had these past few years and get their help. And make sure that you don’t have unprotected sex.
Can you make arrangements to see a physician on Monday?

@becsbuddy I have not indeed visited a docter, as i've never really trusted them or would like to be in a hospital. I can't even remember when I last vistited. Update: I know for sure I have gonoreaa. I have did the research and matched up the symptoms. I think I had an interaction with a girl when I was younger and at that time, I didn't know the difference between protected and not. The experience is a faded memory as I can't remember much. But I've been thinking, that is how I had to have contracted it... I don't know how to feel right now...
