Chest pain

Posted by henribasi @henribaai, Oct 7, 2019

About two months ago I felt lightheaded initially, then the next day I had indigestion, chest pain, constipation, difficulty breathing in closed spaces, and a feeling of something stuck in my throat. I went for an ultrasound and they said I have an inflammation in the stomach lining caused by gastritis. I have been on PPI drugs and anti biotics. I felt better but still having chest pain and the feeling of something stuck in my throat. The pain comes when I sit for long and relax my chest and every morning when I wake up. Its gets better when I do some stretches. It comes back each time I lay down and want to get up. Or each time I sit for long and want to get up. I have done ECG test and everything seems OK. Why am I having the pains.. I also have arms and leg nerve pains and neck too

Oh wow that must be tough. I hope you feel better. I am not a doctor or medical professional. I remember experiencing some of the symptoms that you mentioned and I was diagnosed with gall stones. Has your doctor given you any possibilities of other test to run

My doctor says I'm OK. But I know there's something wrong. The pain isn't a crushing chest pain, but I feel it when I'm getting up after resting or when I exert pressure on my chest

@henribasi Welcome to connect we are a caring group and try to help . May I ask what kind of Dr, have you seen ? Is it just your PCP ? Have you seen any specialist like a lung Dr,cardiologist, rheumatologist . With your nerve pain and muscles this may be a good Dr to see but it could be so many things . Let us know how your doing . I'm sorry for your pain and discomfort it is hard to not know what the cause is .

I saw s gastrorologist. He said a pinched nerve might be the problem. Since I've been on gastritis medications. I feel better immediately I do some chest stretches I. But it comes up when I sit or lay down and try getting up.

@lioness. Thank you for your reply. I just hope its really a pinched nerve. Each time I wake up and want to get up from bed I feel the pain when I Exert pressure on my chest to get up. Same with when I dit for long and exert pressure on it to get up I feel it too.

@olivia I was told to also do an xray but I don't know how xray could show a pinched nerve.
