Netflix series!

I’m sure many of us are frustrated with medical opinions, diagnoses, recommendations etc. Very interesting new series called “Diagnosis“ on Netflix. Might appeal to those of you who wonder about the causes, treatment, next step etc. I am only halfway through the first episode and it is very engaging!

How soon on the protocol did you yes improvement in the severity and progression of the numbness? I, too, am only numb with some tingly for symptoms(no pain). Was the improvement a gradual process to a final point at two months ?

@cb2287 It was about 2 months after I started on the protocol. When I started it in Sept 2016, I had numbness in both legs up to just below my knees. Around December 2016 it seemed to have getting better and the numbness feels to be just above the ankles which is not a whole lot but I count it as a win because it has not gotten any worse which is why I continue to take the supplements. I still hope for improvement but I'm OK with it as long as it's not progressing. I also have polymyalgia rheumatica which is currently in remission. I worry more about that coming back than I do the numbness I have now.

I was reading your earlier post about having total body numbness and everything that has been ruled out. Do your doctors have any suggestions or other ideas what might be causing it?

I saw a Neuro who thinks RLS maybe, and he prescribed gabapentin. I will not take it. Also tests for ferritin iron and TIBC B6 and 12 taken. One additional test - somasensory evoked potential in the works
