it's safe to take a multi-vitamin after transplant, as far as which one just make sure you do your research on the product company. As far as the Vit.C, it has a multitude of benefits, and many functions in the body. You couldn't take enough Vit. C to counter the effects of your anti-rejection medicine, it works in a different way. Hope that helps.

I take a regular dose daily multi-vitamin as advised by my transplant team. At one point I also took an iron supplement under the direction a monitoring of my transplant team.
Since we are all dealing with different medical complexities and individual health issues, I would urge you to talk to your transplant doctor about any over-the-counter vitamins, supplements, or medications.

@webiondev I always check anything I am in doubt about with my transplant team. What is right for one person may not be another. I do not need anything like magnesium or potassium but I know of people who do need to take them. I would think a regular daily vitamin would not hurt but it just takes a minute to check with them or send them a message on their portal.
