Unexplained diarrhea,malabsorption,dizziness,feeling faint, confusion

Hello,
I’m new here. My symptoms have gotten worst in the last year. I’m sick to my stomach or vomiting or have dry heaves everyday. I have developed food and medicine intolerance. Can only eat maybe small portions of rice and vegetables and plain bread throughout the day. And even then some days I am in the bathroom with diarrhea after eating. My gallbladder was removed some years back. When some of the same symptoms appeared back then. But there is no gallbladder to remove now. I’m losing more and more weight. I have periods of confusion and that’s really scary. The testing MRI’s , CT scans and blood work are coming back negative. My gi doc is repeating the testing with a CT scan of the Brian this time. I doubt she will find it. I’m getting sicker everyday. Really losing hope. I’m glad this website is here. It’s soothing to know I’m not alone. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have been worried about you. Sounds like you need to be in the hospital. I mean a hospital that has a team of doctors to look for maybe something rare. They need to think outside the box.You and I both. If you can try to get a diary maybe there are some triggers. I’m muddling along. Some day stomach upset is overwhelming and other times I’m dizzy and feeling faint. I try to force myself to eat. Mybe some broth or something light. Try to keep your strength you. And keep me posted.

I feel so bad for you! I went months feeling like that. I went even to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. They know what I am going through is real, but honestly they have no answered for it. They call it Functiobal Dyspepsia. It has. Been studied at Major Hospitals, no one can find a answered for it. There is a disconnect from the brain to the stomach. 90% of Seratonin is produced in the stomach. The stomach is one of the main functions for all symptoms. I did so much searching because a normal Physiction actually never herd of this. I went on a low dose of Celexa for anxiety, low dose of Propranolol, and the best over the counter FDgard stomach capsule. You will here from time to time here others talk about FDguard. Totally natural and safe. You have to tell your self you are not going to live like this. Do not make this all you think about. Drink a insure plus when you can it helps get vitamins back in your body. Go hard, I will root for you.

I went to the ER yet again because I was so sick and they just dismissed me. Gave me a bag of fluids some neasea medicine and sent me on my way. No one seems to think that this is a problem even though I lost another 4 pounds in 2 weeks. I have my GI consult on Monday so I am hoping he will help me

I went to mayo but they didn’t care about helping me, they just insisted that I had depression despite my physician husband insisting he was wrong. But chapel hill dr diagnosed me with mastocytosis and my daughter also has mast cell activation syndrome which can cause the symptoms you are suffering with. I started out with four Zyrtec per day with two Zantac and a singulair and now I’m taking about the same, one less Zyrtec and am on an immunosuppressant called cyclosporine. My daughter receives xolair shots. No more animals in the house and I have mold triggers, outside, in basements and in cured or aged meats or cheeses
