CBD oil for pain

Posted by timfitz @timfitz, Jul 19, 2016

After trying opiates, and lyrica, and mostly just suffering I tried sublingual CBD which is from the marijuana plant, but has no THC in it, you don't get high. It was very very effective. Not only did it reduce my pain at least 75%, it has a calming effect on the anxiety produced in those of us with chronic pain by the fact we have it. I do recommend it.... Be sure it is from a reliable source. You don't need to smoke anything or get high.

CBD does work primarily for anxiety, and also pain relief for some. Most states don't require a prescription for the legal form of CBD. Texas may be different in this respect. I recommend that anyone with questions or concerns about the use of THC or CBD, contact the site linked below, and educate yourself about it. This is the most reliable site I have found for determining dosage levels and types of the Marijuana derived medicines.

If you're taking other prescribed medications, you should contact your doctor or pharmacist about potential drug interactions, which may or may not be known at this point. Physician and pharmacist recommendations may be more reliant on their philosophical viewpoints and judgment at this time due to the lack of research and regulation of THC/CBD manufacture.

So that everyone knows there are doctors buying into greenhouses full of growing Pot. It was given such a bad name which was so bad. There is nothing wrong with Mirajuana. It's the over use by people that COULD be wrong. Until I moved to Texas I was a regular user. I am 76 and started trying it in 60's. Today it is regulated and growers are inspected. You need very little of it. When they finally approve it, the cost will drop. I sold real estate for 40 yes and held a full job. My children knew I used the oil and they NEVER tried drugs. They respected why their mother used it.

But getting high won't hurt you. It's better than alcohol

THC mixtures ARE available along with straight THC. this is in Minnesota so other states may vary.

Personally I would stay away from Kratom as there are many contradictory statements out there about it. Also, it's purportedly addictive. I'll wait until more reliable information is available about Kratom. Please be careful with it @oregongirl . I hope Texas and the Feds legalize Marijuana soon!

@gale the rummors are more than likely from the drug companies. Can you imagine the money they will loose when we stop buying their pills. I was gone for over a week and never craved Kratom. Before I left I went thru about a month where I used my pills instead of Kradom. I am now back on Kratom. I will most likely NOT be the only Hippie in the Independent care facility .LOL

When I took .025 CBD with THC I got light headed for about 1/2 hour then it passed. I now only take a few drops on a spoon at a time. I don’t want a high. Never did marijuana as a kid and I’m looking for a high. I just want anxiety and panic comfort
