Hi @spinxs1987 So sorry to hear about your depression and mood swings. I think you have taken a great step in talking about it and putting your thoughts in words. Have you discussed medication treatment or changes to help offset the emotional control and the in-balance with your sugar levels in the morning? I feel so bad for you to wake up in rage because your sugars are so high. It seems like there should be some assistance for you in that area. Emotional fluctuations are very draining, and I'm hoping you feel better soon. I used to have mood swings and lash out to the 1st person I saw or talked to (usually my hubby). I noticed my behavior and would try to control it as much as possible. He's very understanding, and I think finally getting diagnosed and on better meds has helped tremendously. Take care...

I became sick when i was 26. Shortly after i became very depressed. So long story short, I have battled depression for years. When my caregiver and best friend past away on 5/11/16 My whole life collapsed. Ive had two heart transplants my mother was my caregiver for both. I lived alone for 6 months after she passed. I dont work because im on disability. Three years ago i found out i was diabetic. I have learned to care for myself and manage all my health care needs. At first it was hard, because my mom would always go with to my transplant testing and heart caths. Now i go alone. God had given me strength to handle the hardest of days. I am not sure if this is the right forum for me to be talking about this. I am sorry if i did anything wrong.

@shellsk24 My father was a strict Army Man. He passed away from Cancer when i was 11. My childhood ended that year. My mother became very depressed. I began to care for myself. Later in Life my mom would become my best friend. She dropped everything when i became sick. She showed me how to be a good parent.
While in the early stages of heart failure , i would see my friends pass. Death is a natural part of life. Still it is hard for us to let go. My mom passed 5/11/15 Luekemia. She showed me how to fight. Those lessons along with my faith in God as the Ultimate Physican. Everyday is a battle. The battle is easier to go along with once you have the right weapons.
