Support Group Tonight! 9/17 from 6-7pm

Sep 17, 2018 | Annie Johnson | @andreab

Mayo Clinic is privileged to be a part of the THRIVE Peer Support Collaborative through the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM). This collaborative is a worldwide partnership between survivors, clinicians, hospitals and SCCM to learn how to create stable, useful in-person support groups.

Who is this for?

Our peer support group is for anyone who has previously experienced critical illness or has had a family member who has been critically ill. If you are one day or 10 years out from your experience, we welcome you to come and explore your recovery journey with others.

When and where does the group meet?

We will be meeting in the Francis Board Room at  St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, MN the third Monday of each month from 6-7pm. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.

How do I get to the group?

Go in the front doors of the Francis Tower at St. Marys Hospital - the main entrance off of 2nd street (there should be some free meter parking available). When you get inside take a right at the main information desk (you can also stop there and as an attendant) that is just past the elevators. Go past the cafeteria, towards the end of the long hall and we will have a sign out for the group. See the attached map - X marks the spot!
