Reboot with a New Video!

Apr 30, 2021 | Annie Johnson | @andreab

We've been away from the blog for a bit, caught up in life's current which has felt much more like a jet stream over the past several months. But we're back and wanted to share with you a project that we have been working on. This short video clip illustrates what recovery from critical illness can look like and mean for those experiencing it.

The past year has opened our eyes to many aspects of life that were perhaps lesser known. And critical care has been no exception. More and more people have been exposed to critical care either personally through illness or injury or through coverage in the media. And the aftermath of being critically ill is more recognized with topics such as "long COVID" or "COVID long haulers" being widely discussed.

We hope this video is helpful for those seeking more information on post ICU recovery. For even more information please skim through previous blog posts on this site where we discuss specific aspects of ICU recovery in more detail.
