March celebrates National Nutrition Month. This year’s theme is Celebrate a World of Flavors which recognizes flavors from cultures around the world that nourish us and appreciate our diversity. No matter where you are from or your cultural heritage, foods from around the world can create a healthy plate. Check out these links below to articles that highlight ways to include foods high in nutrients and flavor.

What a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) can do for you?

The first Wednesday of the month the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics celebrates Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day. Registered dietitian nutritionists are committed to improving the health of the people they work with. They are specifically trained as a credible source of timely, scientifically based food and nutrition information provided into practical solutions for healthy living. A consult to see a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist can be ordered before, during, or after your cancer treatment to help meet your nutrition needs.

Happy National Nutrition Month!
