Mayo Clinic Researchers Find New Lyme Disease Bacteria
Just in time for tick season, Mayo Clinic researchers found a new bacteria that causes Lyme disease in the Midwest. Named after the Mayo Clinic founders, Borrelia mayonii causes slightly different symptoms than Borrelia burgdorferi the other Lyme disease causing bacteria.
