After Paris attacks, how to talk to kids about terrorism

The attacks in Paris have left us all heartbroken and confused. And, for kids especially, violence like this can leave a lasting impression, even if they only see it on the news or social media. Dr. Daniel Hilliker, a pediatric psychologist at the Mayo Clinic, gives parents some advice for helping kids process these events… even when we are having trouble processing them ourselves.
