The Mayo Clinic Center for Innovation develops ground-breaking solutions and facilitates the application of these discoveries in the practice of medicine. The Center for Innovation has completed more than 100 projects working in close collaboration with departments throughout the Mayo Clinic. The center's projects are focused around three primary goals: Redesigning Practice, Community Health Transformation, and Care-at-a-Distance. The Center also hosts an annual innovation conference called Transform.
On Tuesday, Aug. 18 we provided a live, interactive tour of the Mayo Clinic Center for Innovation via Periscope. While the Periscope archive has expired, we've edited the video and uploaded YouTube to allow ongoing access.
In this tour, led by Coordinator Jo Bernau you'll see how the Center for Innovation uses design thinking to foster creative approaches to problem solving.
