I just recovered from H pylori. I was put on 2 antibiotics for 2 weeks which were very strong & as bad or worse than the infection, but I'm free if the bacteria. If you know you have the H pylori, your doctor must know as well. Did he or she not put you or suggest this 2 weeks of antibiotic treatment for either of you?
I have this also and thought it was stress. I have had 3 operations. None of the operations have helped. At times I have terrible pain and Dr. has me on pain pills and stomach meds for ulcers, also Zenep to disipate food in stomach. I am very tired and at times almost bedridden. I sympthize with you.
