I had fusion at L4-L5 and ended up with more pain and searing pain down my right leg. The surgeon who did the surgery kept telling me it was fine and it would get better. After two years he said it was the disk below and wanted to surgery on that disk. I too had trouble finding a surgeon who would see me because of having surgery already but I eventually did. I had a revision and for 8 months I felt great! Now I have pain again in my back but I also have others health problems that he thinks are contributing to it. Keep at it and you will find someone who will help you! Good luck

I had fusion on L5, L4, and L3, in 1995, I am now having extreme pain in the same area and down my legs to a point where my legs get very weak. The surgeon that did the surgery is now practicing in another State, and having prior surgery I am running into surgeons saying they can't help me. I am in extreme pain and no one wants to help
