Heart transplant and caring at home

Posted by lupedelarosa12 @lupedelarosa12, Mar 15, 2017

Hello everyone , I am happy to say that my son is home after 2 1/2 months at the hospital, after a heart transplant , he came home yesterday on his birthday , now its time for us as a family to make sure he is well taken care of at home, nervous about him getting sick , don't want to end up back at the hospital after all that time , it feels really good to start getting our lives back together , but we are a strong family , but never to proud to get some advice and hear of anyone that has been through the same thing , we have alot to learn , Thank you

@lupedelarosa12, I have been thinking about you, and especially your son all of this weekend.
I continue to hope and pray that his recovery is going well. How was the 1st weekend at home? Does he have to go out and have labs drawn? That used to completely exhaust me for most of the day. However, just resting in my own home and hearing the normal sounds of everyday life were beautiful music to my ears. My husband took the phone calls between 12:00 and 3:00 PM so I would be sure to have quiet time and a nap.

I have 2 tomato plants!! and this week when staked them up, I thought of you and your garden . I remember that you mentioned it when your son was recovering. I can hardly wait for by tomatoes 🙂
